That's an interesting idea. I don't think PST has had a Christmas party before?

Lets start by picking a date. I say Dec 5th. Or 12th? Whenever.

I had an absolute blast at PST this year. And in the spirit of Christmass and all that crap, I guess there is a lot of things to be thankfull for. Great dropzone, great coaches and great friends.

So lets get something going.

Dec 12 is the date of the Coldwater Reunion

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=1 ... 3637717..1

Having said that, I don't know if that presents a conflict for very many people.

Freak is now saying (on fb) the 12th for his rear-end video. So is that the date for the PST Xmas party? Is it a pot luck?

Thanks &
Blue Skyz,
Pat :jump:

I think around Christmas, we're always going to have dates that conflict. Although with Coldwater, that itself actually doesn't have much to do with PST, except that some of the long time jumpers *may* have jumped at coldwater sometime in the past...

All that I know is that I can't do the 5th.

We can always do the x-mas party on the 13th instead...doesn't have to be a saturday...

I never jumped at Coldwater, but the reunion is stumbling distance home for me

I'm just looking for confirmation for the PST Christmas party: Dec 12? pot luck?

Hey guys,

I guess it's my turn to miss out. My thoughts will be with you all on the 12th, but my self will not. Have fun guys & have a very merry Christmas.

"SECRET SANTA"?

Postby extremewheelchairs » Sun Nov 29, 2009 2:59 am

I'm not a ery socially adept person on the best of days, but i do remember when I used to work at Apple Canada (gosh how times goes by once youve had a head injury-I just realized i had a job as a programmer [OR was that as a hacker?] at Apple Canada in the mid 80's when the 1st MAC came out  )

WE HAD A SECRET SANTA. I've heard others do this type of thing in their work places (or elsewhere also?)

ANYWAYS BACK TO US AND THE PST CHRISMAS PARTY.

Does anyone else think it would be fun to have a secret santa at our party? (if were having one :? :? :) )

IF people do think the idea is a good one-maybe we could post the names of folks who will be coming for sure- and figure out a way to toss a name to each one of us so we can get/make a gift of some sort for that person (hell I would EVEN give a 'proper' gift-NOT a sack full of coal-to anyone whose name i got-regardless of what i think of their coahcing ethics)...

if we did like the idea but had more time to prepare-it would of been nice to have a skydiving related gift as the requirement-i would think it owuld be awesome to get someone to simply print a photo from the summer's skydiving and frame it in something-not a costly gift since a print of a photo is fairly cheap and frames at the dollar store are cheap :D

and perhaps some may get 'creative'; and stitch a skydiver on a hat, or... or... or...

ok i think i over killed that point.
I know exactly what I am doing...but I might die proving just the opposite
