We are proud to offer the following
The Drop Zone is open every weekend, and public holiday
until the end of October. In July and August, we're also open Monday,
Thursday, and Friday. You don't need to make reservations, just show
up for registration at 9:00am on the Drop Zone.
- Huge 200 acre drop zone -- clear wide open landing area
- Air conditioned classroom in the summer, heated in the winter
- No need to
drive into town for lunch...the "Drop In Cafe" is right off the manifest
room. Coffee, donuts, muffins, Cheeseburgers, Jumbo Hotdogs and other
assorted fares of the day.
- GEAR Connections,
our on-site souvenir and equipment shop, carries all kinds of nifty
things! Candy, Cool T-shirts, bumper stickers, all sorts of things...You'll
need to grab a logbook to record your progression! All T-shirts are
on sale for $12 incl tax!
- Skyphotos.
Your first jumps will be video'ed with the aid of a strut-mounted
video camera. You will be able to purchase a video as a momento for
$25 ($10 for each additional jumper on the tape) incl tax. You can
have a maximum of 5 jumpers per tape, which is great because there
is usually 5 student jumpers per airplane load.
- FREE weekend
camping...in fact you can take your holidays in July or August , and
pitch your tent for a personal jump week (call for details)! If you
don't have a tent, we can provide you with indoor accommodations,
just bring a sleeping bag (it's not the Ritz, but certainly better
than wet grass...)
- No smelly outhouses,
real bathrooms with hot and cold running water, and FREE showers.
- Bonfire Pits
for those "camp-out" nights.
- Spectators are
welcome and there is no entry fee to come watch for the day. However,
you must stay in designated spectator areas. Bring your binoculars
and enjoy the thrill of watching experienced skydivers fall for up
to 2 miles (approx.45 secs) performing their manoeuvres before opening
their parachutes!
- At PST (Parachute
School of Toronto), you will always find a friendly atmosphere. We
welcome you to stay after your course and hang out with us in our
heated party room "The Boar's Breath"(Boar's breath is better than
no breath at all!). We have regular parties for people who are staying
to jump the next day. We don't condone drinking and driving!
- Lots of jumpers
to progress and jump with.
- Experience
and knowledge you can count on!
- There is bus
service to Arthur -- Call the day before to let us know you are coming.
